Message from SION President
Dear Colleagues,
The SION is now a mature organization which is about to have its next meeting this year in Chandigarh.
Today there are a lot of us who travelled the unknown paths, built up a lot of experience and some of you have become experts in the field of IONM. This expertise needs to be seriously multiplied if it were to have value so that it can be reflected on the path of those embarking on similar journeys and forays into the world of IONM. All of us therefore bear a responsibility to exchange and disseminate the knowledge and experience, And this expertise will illuminate like sunlight the darker parts of our planet as it does the lit up part !
What better way can we all do this but to meet in the annual scientific conference where once a year we can exchange wisdom and social spirits, and hence my plea to all you to kindly attend the wonderful meeting that Dr Sushant Shaoo is setting up at Chandigarh ?
Just mark the dates 8th to 10th November now, and we hope to all meet!

It gives me great pleasure to invite all faculties and delegates to the 2 nd Annual conference of the newly formed society of intra operative neurophysiology, SIONCON 2024. Intra operative neuromonitoring is now considered as an essential component of neurosurgical procedures and most hospitals/institutes are using this technology for achieving better patient outcome. This meeting is going to be attended by more
than 100 neurosurgeons from across the country and abroad and will be a great learning as well as teaching opportunity for delegates and faculties.

Dear colleagues
On behalf of the organizing team it gives me immense pleasure in inviting you all to the 2 nd annual conference and CME of the society of intra operative neurophysiology, to be held between 8 th and 10 th November 2024 at Chandigarh. SIONCON 2024 will feature basic and advanced techniques of the use of intra operative neuromonitoring in various brain and spine surgeries. This will be a perfect platform to share our experience in this growing field of neurosurgery. More over this will be an opportunity to learn the technical nuances from the reputed national and international faculties.
The pre conference workshop will feature all modalities of neuromonitoring where step by step teaching on modules, augmented with intra operative videos will be demonstrated by our esteemed faculties from neurosurgery, neuro anesthesia, neuro physiology and technical experts.
We are looking forward to host you at the academic extravaganza SIONCON 2024 in the city beautiful Chandigarh.

About the place of the venue
The conference will be held at Hotel Mount View, Sector – 10, Chandigarh. This is a luxurious hotel with beautiful surrounding. This hotel is approximately 16 km from the Chandigarh international airport and 8 km from the Chandigarh railway station.
